in the southeast sector of san francisco, especially with our children. we have a turf, where children that live in a full-block area cannot leave out to get to school. there was a group financing the young men and women to the college, and they were doing well. but the funding stopped last friday. i am concerned about the young people getting to school. i know there are programs and i talked to one this morning with the city hall, the young people wears colored jackets and things but only 12 staff. my concern is a community benefit fund for hunter's point and that's funding for all over the city. but my concern is when funds are given out to so-called cbo's or the same people, it do not reach in my community where it need to be reached. i requested that i would like to see when funds are distributed to so-called groups that are doing something in my community. including the health department, i talked to dr. garcia and learned of 49 groups dealing with the healthy department, then bay view hunter's point should be the healthier community in the world. but people are sick and dying in that area.

the bay bridge and toll plaza and that traffic is moving along nicely on into san francisco with no major problems. we also have a look at 280 and san jose and 101 and 285 are off to a great start and hopefully it will stay this way but as more people get on the road, you know how it goes, we will have some more troubled spots. here is weather, steve? >>> clouds increasing later on and low clouds mainly out to the valley but the coastal fog is also coming back. we will get some clouds and an overnight brief rain. this is a really thin system but it is going to turn much colder. overnight lows will be if i having more rain and cooler weather is definitely in the mix. our system is here and by the time it arrives it will not do much but this is not a rainy pattern and the snow will be more of a powdery type by the time it gets here. 50s for many and 60s with a brief rain and much colder. 36 in napa, 39 in santa rosa and petaluma and santa rosa is reporting fog so be careful. get used to these readings low clouds, fog, chilly lows or cold lows. mid-50s and very low 60s. >> brief morning rain

of paintings at the old mint in san francisco. they reflected scenes from that part of california. he took us down there and proudly showed us her work. although he traveled the world his family was always in his thoughts. california was always his home. what i will most remember about chris is how thoughtful he was and how people were drawn to him. chancellor wu wrote when chris was appointed ambassador, friends, professional acquaintances contacted me to encourage me to reach out to him. he was so well thought of. i sent a hand-written card and to my surprise he returned the correspondence with his own handwritten note. that would be very much like chris. he appreciated and enjoyed interactions with people. in fact, our friend chris highland put it very eloquently when he said, chris was the finest among us. more than his obviously charms, he was a man of substance and humility. at parties, dinners and gatherings he spent little times talking about himself and his accomplishments. only when he was forced to. instead he asked people about their lives, their views, their accomplishments. he a
